What is a “cool roof”?
A roof that strongly reflects visible, infrared and UV rays of the sun, dramatically reducing the temperature of the roof. Lower roof temperatures reduce air conditioning costs and minimize deterioration from exposure to the elements and heat related expansion and contraction problems. Cool roofs also lower the heat transfer from the roof to the air, reducing the urban heat island effect.
What are the benefits of installing a cool roof?
Extended life of the current roof membrane/surface, improved energy savings, easy maintenance, and minimal business interruption during application.
