Superior Protection for Your Hypalon Roof
Continuous UV exposure is tough on Hypalon (CSPE) roofs. The sun and heat can cause heavy chalking and surface cracks, as well as pinholes in the membrane. The good news is that you don’t have to take on the cost of a complete tear-off and replacement. If your Hypalon roof is a good candidate, our SEBS coating systems provide an excellent solution to cover reinforcement scrim, protect against surface cracks and seal out moisture.

Application Guidelines for Hypalon Single-Ply Roofs
Our roof coating systems can be installed on mechanically fastened or fully adhered single-ply Hypalon systems. The following four-step process makes these systems easy to install. Please review all guidelines and instructions below before starting the Hypalon roof restoration process.
We partner with contractors to complete all Hypalon single-ply roof coating projects. Contractors provide all the necessary materials, tools and labor to complete the job. Our four-step processes are easy to follow, with no primers required for application — simply clean, seal, prep and coat the roof. The entire coating application can be broken down into four steps:
Step 1 – Clean
Power wash the roof at 2,000 psi to remove any loose dirt or debris. Some surfaces will need a spot treatment of our RC-300 cleaner. Make sure the roof is clear of any ponding water.
Step 2 – Seal
Apply RC-2250 to all penetrations and potential leak points.
Step 3 – Prep
Apply RC-2012 Base Coat at 1.25 gallon per 100 square feet over the entire roof surface according to product and warranty specifications.
Step 4 – Coat
Apply RC-2018 Top Coat at 1.0 gallon per 100 square feet over the entire roof surface.
