black bucket filled with RC 1900

RC 1900 Aliphatic Polyurethane is a technologically advanced, high solids, single component, moisture cure, bright white polyurethane elastomer coating uniquely formulated as a finish coat over RC 1975 Polyurethane Aluminum in low slop roof restoration projects. Once cured this liquid applied moisture-curing polymer provides a durable, seamless, flexible, waterproof membrane that resists lateral movement, shear and will allow for normal expansion and contraction.

Mil for mil, RC 1900 provides greater UV protection than similar aliphatic polyurethanes and offers increased resistance to moisture penetration through its lower moisture vapor permeability values. Due to its moisture-cure properties, a longer production window can be achieved during application versus water based acrylic coatings.

Benefits of RC 1900 Aliphatic Polyurethane (Top Coat)

  • Durability: Resist acids, alkali and salts for longer product lifespan.

  • Seal and Waterproof: Eliminate potential wash-off problems with early water resistance.

  • Superior Weatherability: Increase longevity with high ozone and UV resistance.

  • Thermal Stability: Resist cracking and peeling due to high tolerance of hot and cold weather extremes.

  • Easy Application: Spray, roll or brush only one component.

  • Extended Application Season: Apply even during colder months, thanks to the superior formula.

Types of Applications

  • Modified and BUR roofs

  • EPDM, Hypalon and TPO roofs

  • Polyurethane Foam and Concrete surfaces
