Superior Protection for Your Hypalon Roof

Inland Coatings Hypalon Single Ply Roof

Continuous UV exposure is tough on Hypalon (CSPE) roofs. The sun and heat can cause heavy chalking and surface cracks, as well as pinholes in the membrane. The good news is that you don’t have to take on the cost of a complete tear-off and replacement. If your Hypalon roof is a good candidate, our SEBS coating systems provide an excellent solution to cover reinforcement scrim, protect against surface cracks and seal out moisture.

Benefits of Coating Your Hypalon Roof With Inland Coatings

Weighing your options between a full tear-off and a coating application? Look to Inland Coatings to restore, reinforce and protect your existing Hypalon roof against UV exposure, extreme weather and surface damage.

  • Cost-Effective Repair Option

As a cost-effective alternative to a full tear-off, our roof coating systems have a high resistance to water and weather extremes.

  • Energy-Efficient Cool Roofing Systems

When applied in white, our ENERGY STAR-rated SEBS coating systems have an incredibly high reflectance rating at 87%. This not only shields the roof from harmful UV exposure, but also keeps the surface cooler — saving you money on energy costs. Silicone roofing solutions for commercial buildings also offer excellent solar reflectance.

  • Custom Color Options

To customize the look and feel of your SEBS roof, choose from our 12 RC-2000 color options or work with us to create a custom color to match your brand. Silicone roofing is available in standard colors.

Our synthetic rubber membrane is both strong and flexible to ensure maximum protection while extending the life of your Hypalon roofing system.

Application Guidelines for Hypalon Single-Ply Roofs

Our roof coating systems can be installed on mechanically fastened or fully adhered single-ply Hypalon systems. The following four-step process makes these systems easy to install. Please review all guidelines and instructions below before starting the Hypalon roof restoration process.

We partner with contractors to complete all Hypalon single-ply roof coating projects. Contractors provide all the necessary materials, tools and labor to complete the job. Our four-step processes are easy to follow, with no primers required for application — simply clean, seal, prep and coat the roof. The entire coating application can be broken down into four steps:

Step 1 – Clean

Power wash the roof at 2,000 psi to remove any loose dirt or debris. Some surfaces will need a spot treatment of our RC-300 cleaner. Make sure the roof is clear of any ponding water.
